Turn It On

I took Lizzy to Toys R Us yesterday to try out a scooter. When we walked down the aisle with the bikes, scooters, and such, this is what she found . . .
She got on it and immediately said, " Turn it On!" The girl must take after her dad, she wants to turn on anything that has a motor!!

Sidewalk Chalk

Lizzy loves to color with whatever on whatever! We decided since the sun has been shinning the last few days to get outside and enjoy it, with our sidewalk chalk!

I was trying hard to get a smile, but an evil/screaming look was the best I could do. I guess we'll have to work on that. She was having a grand old time, I promise!

Giggles

We spent Easter Sunday with Mike's family, with lot's of yummy food, games, and Lizzy's favorite, Thaine and Marci's puppy!

It's a good thing we can't have pets where we are living, otherwise we just might have had a puppy in our near future. Maybe someday!!

Lizzy's First Easter Egg Hunt

We had Easter with my family yesterday since they will be in Utah on Easter. We had a yummy dinner, but I think the best part was the chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and homeade frosting, YUM! Hill, you just might have a future on Ultimate Cake Off!!!!
Lizzy had her first Easter egg hunt with maja and faja. She did it like a pro! She also got an easter basket with a chocolate bunny and sidewalk chalk, we'll have to get out and put it to use since it's suppossed to be almost 80 degrees tomorrow! Although I think her favorite part may have been the plastic grass. :0)

(sorry the picture is blurry, she was on the hunt!)

We had a great day, topping it all off with a Duke win and my bracket climbing the charts! :)

Madness Again!

Lizzy got sick again, I swear she just got over her last cold! So we decided to just go to Sacrament meeting today since she couldn't go to nursery. It turned out to be just a low key day, baking cookies, painting nails, and of course Lots of BRACKETOLOGY! I'm pretty sure when all was said and done we had watched like four hours of conference championships and the selection show. Thats how much we like basketball in this house! Lizzy was getting bored, a 19 month old can only take so much basketball (though she has it in her blood). So we decided to paint her toes, she loved it :)

I tried to get a smile, but she was too busy checking out her toes! Well, it's off to start filling out my BRACKET!

My Little Helper

The other day we decided to make some rice krispie treats! Lizzy thought she would like to help
. . . . or maybe not so much!

Potty

For the last couple weeks Elizabeth has been obsessed with the "potty"! She is constantly trying to play in it, just keep it closed and problem solved, right? No! she can open, unload an entire roll of toliet paper, flush, and close the potty, all with the door close mind you as fast as I can say "Lizzy, what are you doing?"
So on Sunday night she was saying "potty" again, I didn't think much of it since this is not an unusual occurance. I thought, what the heck, lets try her sitting on the potty. Sure enough a couple story books later and a few times getting up and being put back, she DID IT! I'm not so sure she has the whole concept down but we're at least moving in the right direction :0)
