A Busy Weekend

Most of you probably already know, but Mike and I were able to get back out on our own after living with my parents for about six months. We are so grateful for a loving supportive family that is always willing to help us out. Since we have gotten our own place and felt like we had a grip on life, wouldn't you know it we have been thrown a few minor curve balls. Last Friday I got in a minor car accident, but it turned out that the body damage wasn't much to be fixed so we have decided to take the money to get ahead on a few things, however I got a phone call from Mike on Wednesday that his truck had broken once again, the poor thing seems to always be having problems with it.
SO, yesterday we decided to go and look at getting Mike a new(to us) truck . . . Eight hours and a few more thousand dollars in debt this it what we had!

I am so excited for Mike to have a more reliable truck for work, he works so hard to support us and give us what we need and want, he deserves it!

Lizzy was such a trooper yesterday, we decided to take a break and get her valentine gift for her. We took her to build-a-bear to get a new friend . . . this is what she picked.

She hasn't parted with it since!

Lastly, we got to go to our new ward today for the first time since I was teaching primary previously and didn't want to leave them hanging. We have been working getting Lizzy aquainted with nursery for the last couple of weeks, being that she is now officially eighteen months. She didn't last but 10 minutes by herself, so Mike enjoyed nursery again this week. I however got to meet a few new people and enjoy Sunday School and Relief Society for the first time in a while. We are excited to get and established in our new ward and making some new friends!

Happy Valentine's Day!!
